"The pasting-up, which covered over 130 metro stations and was visible during the last week of March 1970, was done on the occasion of the 18 Paris IV 70 exhibition, but outside its spatial and temporal limits."
"This is a second book of photographs taken in over a hundred stations of the Paris metro.
"Each photograph is centered on a billboard and in the lower left-hand corner of each billboard vertical white and coloured (orange) stripes are noticeable. The pieces of white and orange vertically-striped paper put up / pasted in this way were a pretext for Michael Cenet's photographs.
"The pasting-up covered over 130 metro stations and was visible during the last week of June 1973."

"During the preparation for my exhibition The Archives, the idea originated to publish an artist book instead of a catalogue. Thirty artists were invited to design one page, specially for this book. Some sent five-hundred works, others sent an idea which has been executed in every book. I do appreciate the participation of all the artists. They made this book a unique document and work of art. It is fixing an era that is subject to rapid changes. It is making the aura of a unique work of art relative; it is representing the character of my archives. The artists participating in this book have been important for the development of my archives during the latest ten years and they have been chosen because of the personal affinity to their work."
"[Joseph Beuys'] Secretary's Briefcase (Sekretartasche) 1981. Facsimile print in brownish-violet on semitransparent sheets. Book numbered by another hand. Based on the object Sekretartasche, 1976. Facsimile prints of Urschlitten mit Totengeistern, 1966 (Primeval sleds with ghosts of the dead), oil on paper, double sheet. Both originals reproduced in Zeichnungen, Prestel, cat. nos. 127 and 92."
